Actually Harden has been on record that he didn't want out, he just wanted to be paid like a starter (reasonable given that he had starter productivity as a 6th man), but OKC wouldn't pay him.

also said he could be the biggest steal of the draft.

              • I would love to see him go to Chicago. Thibodeau is about as close as the NBA has to a coach like Marshall. The Bulls had a pretty good season with harldy any great NBA talent. That is one team that actually plays hard nose defense and gives extra effort every night, which is a reflection of a great coach.

Actually those are better numbers than I would have expected for McBuckets.

                        • Not good news for Cle
CHICAGO—After two days of drills, measurements and athletic testing in front of plenty of high-ranking NBA decision-makers, some prospects will walk away having helped their 2014 draft stock, while a few just failed to make an impression...

Same here. Well maybe the jumping is in line with expectations, but the speed skills are a surprise.

Is 47% from 3 (unguarded I assume) really that bad?, and isn't his actual game percentage for the last 2 years of greater weight?

                              He's still going 1st round.

As for the shooting, if NBA teams decide to prioritize shooting numbers at the combine on a small sample size over two season's worth game film, they are idiots. Shooting ability is one of the least important things to determine at the combine because it is one of the easiest to establish from game film.

That shooting performance obviously won't help Cle if teams already had concerns about his shooting ability, but it also isn't nearly a big enough sample to concern teams if they believed in his shooting ability.

In other words, the shooting drills were a lost opportunity to improve his stock, but not likely a harm to it. Measurements like vertical leap and sprinting were actively helpful to his stock. I can't see on balance how you put him in the loser category, even if you don't think he helped himself enough to be considered a winner.
