An additional reason to watching the NBA on top of watching Gal and Toure. ;-)

    • Good video. However, unless things have drastically changed...if I were an NBA team I wouldn't want Cleanthony making decisions off of a pick and roll. He'll get better at it though.

Keep in mind that it's these guys jobs to promote their clients and, just like a catcher tries to frame a close pitch for the umpire, these guys are trying to frame CleAnthony in the best way they can.

        • You have to have a good video editor, too, one that can edit out all the mistakes by the player (missed shots, etc). You see the same thing with videos of recruits. The videos are always going to show the best parts of a player's games.

          • early measurements so far at 11:20am ct - Dougie Basketball 6'6" in socks, 218 lbs ... Jerami Grant 6'6.5" in socks .... Gary Harris 6'2" in socks (not good for him as he is sometimes listed at 6'5") ... Noah Vonleh 6'8" in socks but a wingspan of 7'4"+. Dude can tie his shoes without bending over.

It's fun watching him get up and down. Still on right now.

Very complimentary. Hit all his vitals. NJCAAIII POY, "Great two years at Wichita State". Jay Williams said "he showed up every game at every level." Praised his work ethic. "Played his way in to a first round pick with the NCAA tourney."
Fran Fraschilla warned against "Recency bias" from the Kentucky game. Said he is "fighting for a job". I've heard that from Fraschilla for many guys, though.

                  • I thought this break down of Cle's game was pretty accurate.
Handle issues. Forcing shots. questionable D at next level.
I'm excited to see him get that first round call.

                    • From ESPNU to ESPN2. They open with Cle again. Jay Williams says "Diamond in the rough" "Steal of the draft"
Fraschilla says he was "Coached hard at Wichita State by Gregg Marshall."
Cle highlights all over the place.

                      This is great...

It has been said by many, including the man himself, that playing for Gregg Marshall is not going to be a picnic. That said, the players who play for Gregg will be prepared for life after they finish, whether it be basketball or the working world. For example, Toure' was able to persevere in that year playing overseas and in the D-League and ultimately earned a roster spot with the Knicks in no small part because of his experience playing for 3G.

You only have "Recency bias" if you weren't paying attention the 2 years prior.
