Better tournament than we had this year. Disappointed, though. We should be a hot enough team that we could get into a strong tourney rather than being the big name in an okay one.

10:1 we get DePaul in round 1. Super stoked.

I think we are looking at this all wrong. Each of the past two years we have played DePaul and each of the past two years we have won at least 30 games. Sure there might not be a definite causal relationship there, but why mess with a formula that's working?

DO NOT talk about about Statistics right now.....it's still a fresh wound. It burns so much.

We'll get less repsect for beating any of these than for beating SLU this year. For WSU to get credit in the media for a "good" win two things hve to happen. 1) It has to be a name team, and 2) That team has to have a good year.

Replacing Early, Lufile, Coleby, and Wiggins may be tougher than replacing Hall and Armstead. We return - let's call it 3-1/2 - starters, but we've got big question marks for the other 1-1/2 starters. We've got a raw JuCo, a RS Fr, and some true Frwe're going to be relyiong on as starters. We go from 6'6" Wiggins to 6'1" Holland as a backup in the backcourt.

I don't believe in counting on Fr, especially true Fr, until they have shown that they can handle D1 ball. It might be best to start with a tourney that doesn't include Duke, Syracuse, and Kentucky.
This is spot on....I think the Shocks will be PLENTY good, but a new arrangement....

I say we drop out of the Diamond Head Classic and take K-State up on their offer instead.

That was a convenient date to choose there KSU.

Diamond Head? That lineup is more like Turtle Head.

Colorado should be decent with Dinwiddie back and Nebraska shouldn't be all that bad. But it could be another year for the pundits to criticize our out-of-conference schedule. Let's hope the other schools Marshall is talking to will put some meat on the schedule.

Avg. RPI of Non-WSU teams: 100. Yay.

On the bright side, we are now free to go all out in our scheduling of other regular season games. No need to hold back in an effort to build up a few wins.

On the other bright side, these players deserve a trip to Hawaii.

At least we get the good Loyola in the tournament.
