It's all relative. When you have to play a ~300 RPI Loyola twice, a 173 RPI Loyola looks like the Miami Heat.

Why does it seem like we always play in the same tournaments as DePaul?

          Because we do.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

            Educated guess on the seeding:

            (1) WSU
            (8) Loyola Marymount

            (4) GW
            (5) Ohio

            (6) Hawaii
            (3) Nebraska

            (7) DePaul
            (2) Colorado

Not bad but not real good.

I'm dead serious. Tell the tournament to replace DePaul or we're gone. I'm tired of this crap.
              And replace those games with?

There are three probable NCAA tourney teams in there besides us. Let's just pray we play two of them.

I would guess the Nebraska game will be looked at in a different light next year, if the two teams meet. The Huskers are pretty young and have really had a nice second half.

Look on the bright side - WSU can add to its tournament collection.

This is the second straight tournament where we've had to say that, basically.

Why are we putting ourselves into bad tournaments in the first place? Is this really the best we can do?

These neutral site tournaments are the best shot for us to build a good noncon resume, and we're getting into average ones every year. I understand we're always going to struggle getting major teams to do home/homes, but we can't even get into a decent early season tournament field?

There's things to like about this tournament as far as tournament teams, but I'd rather have name programs.

This has been scheduled for like 2-3 years as just about all of our tournaments are.

We will have more fans there than anyone except maybe Hawaii, and that's even plausible.

They have gone 8-2 in conference play ever since they dismissed Deverell Biggs. Nebraska is lead by 3 sophomores and will lose only 1 senior who sees regular playing time.

It sucks that we have to go to Hawaii to play a couple of bigger conference schools that are well within driving distance. And then there is the problem with depaul as well. I thought we were done with D2 schools in tournaments?

The thing is. These tournaments hope to get a marquee team.

We used to get in these tourneys to get a game against a marquee team.

Our problem now, is that we are the marquee team.
