The Drake students also chanted "Overated" prior to the game. They really aren't very creative but they are stupid.

It wasn't the Drake Students chanting, it was:

Doug Haller, Kelly Hines, Matt McCoy, Bret Strelow, Ron Morris, Doug Gottlieb, and Gary Parrish.

Nothing is impossible. KU has had a really tough road to plow through. It just may mean more to the voters than a team that beat them.

I don't doubt that voters are stupid enough to follow that logic, but the rankings are supposed to be for who the best teams are, not just a reflection of SOS. You use SOS to compare teams that haven't played. San Diego state beat Kansas at AFH. We know without question that they are better than Kansas. If you can't use a direct head to head game to determine who is better, what the hell are they playing the games for?

It's one thing if San Diego State had five losses and a win over Kansas. Then you can argue its a fluke. With one loss (on the road to undefeated Arizona) and a road win over a four loss team, there is zero logical argument to be made that Kansas is better.

You can make an argument to put San Diego State above us. There is no intelligent argument to put Kansas over them.

We might as well give UNI the conference championship even if we go undefeated and beat them three times, because their noncon was harder.
