Mike was wrong. The other player was a quarter inch too short, so HE got the turnover instead of Fred.

        • If you have any questions on if HCGM was toying with these guys look at how much time Green got. Look at Cotton running the point when there was no reason for him to be. Marshall used this game to work on things.

Good for him. That is what you do when you are a top program and you have a down team come in. Ron got a chance to get his shot back, nick had some great minutes, Cle was able to go out and have a little fun, FVV did his same ol same ol best point guard in the nation routine and my wife (MY WIFE) ate a pretzel.

          • Illinois St is not a very good basketball team. The game was not very well officiated, either.

                • I've watched Illinois State play 3 times now and Bobby Hunter is the only guy that impressed me in any of those games. I can't figure out why Muller benched him for Lofton. That guy takes a third of his teams' shots when he's on the floor and Marshall isn't even worried enough to put Cotton on him. I guess Muller just hates good basketball.

Ah, thanks. When I heard that, I also remember thinking "there goes Fred's streak", but the mike didn't say anything about the streak ending.

No turnovers in four games. Insane.

It was a pass to Cotton. Cotton was able to tip the ball and it got stuck between the rim and the backboard. It was counted as a missed shot by Cotton.

No doubt. Green getting that many minutes tells you that we could have really poured it on but didn't. The dumbass Redbird fans who are whining about our starters being in until 3 minutes left are just so freaking ignorant of this stat.

This is probably the best explanation of the Shox season that I've seen from any source, and there have been many, many sources trying to explain what the Shox are doing this year.

Not sure what record they were referring to in the "queue", but they scored with "Fred Can Vleet can't be beat" during the highlight itself

Oops...Fred Van Vleet, but can Vleet works too!

Most on here already know that when you watch the game on Shockervision the audio is the radio broadcast with Mike Kennedy and Dave Dahl. And most know the funny thing is you can hear everything they say during the radio broadcast's commercial breaks; the mic is still "live" for the Shockervision feed. Normally, they are talking about scores around the Valley or trying to decide who their player of the game is. Something like that.

Tonight the radio broadcast cut to commercial right when the game ended and the teams began shaking hands. I guess the handshake between Muller and Marshall was awkward. Both Dahl and Kennedy started dogging Muller for how much of a chickenshit handshake he gave Marshall. It went something like, "Muller didn't even look at Gregg when he shook his hand. He just grabbed it and left. Even Dana looked Gregg in the eyes."

                                It was hilarious.
