They closed the show by talking about their top 4: 1. Syracuse 2. FL 3. Zona 4. WSU. I do think it is pretty cool that we arguing that WSU should be 2 or 3. That is a real nice problem to have. I am not happy with some of these pundits but I love that WSU is in THIS Conversation!

It is a much more enjoyable debate than arguing that WSU should be in the top 25 (which is what we were arguing for last year at this time). It is a great debate to be a part of. It is great to see national pundits have to explain why they have the Shockers at #4 instead of 2 or 3 or even #1. That is all I was saying.
this team has the most returning starters since, three, four years ago? -certainly, last year they had to replace four starters? and before that, they lost their top (5?) scorers from the nit champs- etc-

It is much better to hear the same pundits who speculate or predict that we are 4 vs. 3 talking about actual wins in March and April.
Being a 3 or 4 vs. a 3 or 2 means we are worrying about being in the top 2% of all teams in the country instead of the top 1%.
You hang banners for wins, not poll results. Enjoy this...Kansas is Flat. The Earth is Not!!

WSU will continue to be judged on their worst performance (ie 10 minute stretch at home vs Evansville) while their best performances (handing St. Louis their only home loss) are forgotten. Teams like Syracuse will continue to be judged on their best performances (greatest game of all time against Duke) while their worst games are ignored (trailing St. Francis Brooklyn at home for most of the second half, taking a lead with 1 minute to go before winning by 6...playing 1 road game in the non conference at St. Johns, which is like WSU playing a road game at Newman). I'm not picking on Syracuse per se.
WSU and Syracuse were both Final Four teams last year. Every neutral observer would tell you WSU was more impressive. Neither has lost since then. The hardest thing to do in college basketball is win on the road. The 'Cuse has played 4+ road games (the + is SJU which BARELY qualifies), 4 are mandated by conference play and NONE of those 4 were as tough as Alabama, to say nothing of St. Louis.
Even stat-wise, the Orange are unremarkable. They are really good at putting their own fans in the stands, and winning home games. They have a really nice name across their uniforms. The ACC sure sounds tough.
Remain angry.

The issue I have is everyone seems to ignore that multiple teams, including but maybe not limited to Drexel, Washington, and Utah, both jumped out to double digit leads on Arizona.

Remain angry."Hank Iba decided he wouldn't play my team anymore. He told me that if he tried to get his team ready to play me, it would upset his team the rest of the season." Gene Johnson, WU Basketball coach, 1928-1933.
