Just when Indy St was looking like they might get us 2 (or 3 counting St. Louis) more top 50 RPI wins they blow it today in Springfield. Our conference just seems to continue to do all it can to keep us from getting quality wins. We just need to win out. I think it would be pretty hard to keep from giving us a 1 seed if we are 34-0.

Why do you guys care what other teams you have played do at this point ? I highly doubt at this point in the season with where your record is what other teams do would affect you at all come selection Sunday.

Because I don't want to give the committee any excuse to give us a 3 or 4 seed. After getting left out in years when I felt like we definitely should have gone (NIT championship season) or getting a worse seed then we should have, I don't like to give the committee any excuse to diss us.

I think losing 4 starters from last year is mostly accurate. Our starters for the majority of the year were Armstead, Williams, Cotton, Hall, and Orukpe. Early would occasionally start depending on the game matchups and Baker started again during post season after returning from injury.

For the most part, we lost 3-4 starters from the 2012-2013 season.

Sure is amazing how players do not know the rules...Saint John's down 2 at the line with 1.5 seconds left the guy from the 3 point line runs in as soon as the ball is shot that is ok in the NBA but not the NCAA. We seen that play out in the NCAA tournament a few times the last few years the players still don't know it.

What I'm saying is there is now 2013 Louisville or 2012 Kentucky. Those teams were clearly the best going into the tournament and they proved it. There is no team like that this year.

Oklahoma State should be embarrassed to be playing an important game with Marcus Smart back and yet to have so many empty seats showing up on TV. When they pan the arena it is just sad.

Probably. But at the same time, it could be a d-bag coach who went out of his way to stick it to an opposing d-bag fan, who goaded his d-bag player into a retaliation that caused a suspension.

Any way you slice it, plenty of d-bags to go around.

I agree with your premise about stuff like heart factoring into stats in the long run. But not every team can come from 19 down in front of 11k on the road. That was my point on our record.

I do agree on an individual game basis.

I think it all gets factored into the numbers as well. But I definitely trust this team to come back from a deficit more than most. Mostly because these guys have icewater in their veins.
