Stoolwater State has a lot of bandwagon fans. This is not a shock.

They also built their new arena about 5,000 seats too large. They just don't support basketball down there. It's pretty much Boone Pickens and that's about it.

I think the most telling thing about this game is that there's about 4,000 fans there for their "maroon out" on national tv, along with about 35 students.

Kind of a dumb conversation because everyone wants a 1 seed for what it represents, the fun of compiling the resume, and the increased odds in the tourney.

But given the question in a complete vacuum I think it is probably more fun to win as a lower seed. Crashing everyone's bracket last year was awesome.

I believe it's decided that the game is on ESPN if WSU is 30-0. Anything else and it's the Duece.

I didn't see it, but they were supposed to make the decision any day now, so it wouldn't surprise me if they've already committed our game to ESPN1.

They have to commit about a week in advance. I'm pretty sure that they can't change it at the last minutes due to advertising concerns.

The MSU crowd is sad. Playing second place team with a legitimate shot to slip into third and second to last home game and still half empty in the lower seats.
