I follow a lot of mid major teams or former mid major teams with all the movement in leagues and I have been following you guys for a good part of the past 5-6 years and since your NIT championships run (I still say you should have been in the NCAA that year).

So if your not playing 1 of the 4 teams I have posted on here I am probably rooting for you to win.
I appreciate all of that and your interest. My only response would be then if you're interested in what other teams do (like WSU for example), why can't we be interested in what other teams do, especially when it relates to our NCAA Tournament resume?

You've been pretty spot-on with a lot of your posts, but you went off the deep-end with your seeding stuff.

      • I said wouldn't it be "more fun" to win it all as a 5 or 9 seed I didn't say it be easier to win it from those spots. I did say 1/2 seed shouldn't matter that much though because if your good your good and if your a 1/2 it shouldn't matter much the reason a 16 has not beat a 1 and a 15 has beat a few 2's is because the 1's are usually better than the 2's........Don't confuse me with thinking winning from a 5 or 9 seed is just as easy as a 1 seed.

        • I didn't say there was anything wrong with following/rooting for the guys you beat I just asked why you guys seemed to care so much this year while you are doing so well it would seem to affect you less this year than in past years when you were on the bubble or looking for a seed bump.

          • I think it would be pretty fun winning it all as a 1 seed going 40-0, but that's just me.

That's just stupid. Why would anyone want to win every game? Dumb..........

                      • Down goes #7 Cincy to #11 Louisville. I imagine we might gain a few votes in the polls from pollsters who had Cincy ahead of us last week. I doubt many will jump us with Louisville. Small details, but every vote counts

                        • Also this year is not what I am talking about for being a 5/9 seed type team obviously this year you will be a 1 or a 2 seed at worst...last year though it sure would been hella fun to win it all as a 9 seed.

Ok enough about the seeding moving on to the games at hand great ending for Louisville win.

Personally, I can't perceive a difference in the "fun" it would be winning as a 5-9 or as a 1. It's would be fun.

                            Since I've never supported a team that's a 1 seed, that's what I'm rooting for.

It is pretty easy to confuse you with having said that when you just said something like this an hour ago:

                              • I had a lot of fun last year, and the run was the most pleasant of surprises. But I'm ready for a different kind of fun this year- a record book, don't-ever-dismiss-us-again kind of a fun.

Also, WVU needs to keep beating Baylor and Tech needs to get it together against OK State. I want neither (really none) of those mediocre teams taking up spots in the tourney.
