First post in a while - this may have been discussed to death, but . . . Toure Murray is listed on the roster for the Knicks at the lowest salary of $490,180.00. Good for him - what a great kid.

All he has to do now is set up residence in Kansas, set up an LLC representing himself, sign with the Knicks as the Pres of the LLC instead of as himself, and voila! No State income tax on that money.The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.

I may be wrong but I believe that professional athletes must pay state income taxes in every state where they play a game. The taxes can get very complicated I've heard.Comment

The NBA has a 15 man roster, but only a 13 man active roster, so two players on the roster won't be suited up each game.
