Well Murry should shine in OTs with his endurance.

Not a great showing, but not terrible. I still think he makes the roster.

They talked about TM for a long time in the post game show. Wally Szczerbiak overall had good things to say, but basically said the Knicks don't have a need for him. Coach said he played well, but had issues on D that cost them (specifically guarding the 3 at the end of the first OT).

Some team will swoop him up if the Knicks don't keep him. He's shown too much potential not to.

Latest blurb ont he roster, which must be shaved down on the 28th. Still making a case to keep Murry....

The New York Knicks have less than a week to set their regular season roster. So it's time to take a serious look at the training camp invites. The Knicks have 12 players signed to guaranteed contracts.

Toure with another nice effort so far tonight- 4 pts, 1 rbd and 0 TO in 4 mp. He's been on the court with the other bench players (aka competition for a roster spot) and everyone else is royally stinking up the joint.

A strong finish in these last two exhibitions would be fantastic.

I'm glad that people are behind Toure again. He was always a great kid and a great ambassador for the Shockers.

When he was a Senior there were some (if memory serves me correct, mainly Cold but there were probably others too) who went after his faults without mercy. He did have some deficiencies but he was a very good all around basketball (his strengths always significantly outweighed his weaknesses) player who always had a wide range of basketball skills (he could do it all except shoot from 3 consistently), and I always felt that he should have made All MVC 2nd Team his Senior year.

Great Job Toure. We are proud of your accomplishments, and hope your dreams come true.

Toure played 4 quiet minutes in the second half, finishing with 7 pts (3-4 fg, 1-1 3fg), 1 rebound, 0 ast, 1 TO in 13 minutes of action.

Also of importance, CJ Leslie played just 48 seconds tonight. Leslie's contract is partially guaranteed (just $200k) and he is probably TM's biggest competitor for the final guard slot, unless NYK does something ridiculous like keep Chris Smith around just to placate his prima donna brother.

He's just such a quality young man, and he's always been focused on the future. I'm thrilled he has this opportunity, and I believe he'll make the most of it, no matter where that takes him.

And I am happy, proud and humbled to have known him and his family.
