  • You might remember that Toure' was really 3G's first recruit at WSU. 3G filled a couple of holes when he came in, but Toure' was the 1st to commit in that class.

I'd say everyone did alright for themselves in that deal.

I'm probably moved to tears more than the average fellow, but I couldn't be happier for the young man and his family. Way to go Toure'!!!!!!!

Lastly, I never in a million years thought I'd be extolling the virtues of Meta World Peace....but well done.

    • Congratulations to Murry!!! I hope he shines with the Knicks.

Now, if only I was related to JR Smith, then I too could be right there to enjoy the ride with Toure! I'm actually a long-time Knicks fan, but over the last decade or so they have become an absolute embarrassment of an organization.

Not complaining about Murry coming aboard though, looking forward to seeing him play more!

This will only help with recruiting.

          • Well done young man. Like I know you will, don't blow this opportunity, take advantage of this and work your but off so you can kick others'. Very pleased for this program too.

Doesn't one of his Winthrop players play in the league, or used to?

He should claim Gal. Not that he recruited him, but his coaching helped Gal get to where he is today, even if it took him a few years to realize it.

With Cle' next year, I'd like to see this become a habit.

                  • Wow. I am so happy for Toure'. This is awesome for someone that has worked hard and paid his dues. I guess my autographed pic of him is worth even more now. :)

Best of luck and show 'em the Shocker Way, Toure!

                          • I am seriously considering signing up for NBA TV. Looks like the NY Knicks play at OKC on 2/9.
