Why wouldn't Coach Marshall shake his hand and wish him the best? He has said multiple times that he only wants players that want to be here. That he wishes the players that dont the best.

The point is that it would have been great if Hawkins had gone to LSU. But no school will change the rules for an inter-conference transfer.

Redturd fans don't have good basketball to look forward to, so bashing Marshall is about all they got.

          Go easy on them.

Redbird fans are delusional. Honestly, they need to worry about the other 16 Valley games and not just the two games that Teddy can't play against WSU. They're acting like their entire season is ruined because they won't have a new player able to play in 2 conference games. Something tells me that at the end of the season, even if they beat WSU twice, they'll still finish at the highest 3rd, and I expect more of the 5-7 range.

This is all about 14-15, right? Or can Hawkins play this year?

I don't even know why they are worried about a kid that most likely will never play for them.

Most of their fans haven't had as much experience with Hawkins as our posters have, and as a result are still hopeful. Who knows -- maybe Teddy will actually get his head on straight. No reason to root against him to do so. But even if he does, it may not happen in not-so-Normal.

If Teddy ever does get to play I wish him all the success in the world. We went on with our program and he is living his life as best as he sees it at this point in time. If Teddy is the difference between our program and theirs in a couple of years we have not progressed as we should or Dan Muller is one hell of a coach and recruiter. Just because some redbird fans are dicks it should make no difference to us.

Agreed. Many of their fans "get it" as do many of ours. If they can't stop and see this from both sides, then they can't be helped and you don't want to talk to em anyway. Moving on, I hope Teddy does quite well and that every time we play Ill St we stick it in his face!

Illinois State basketball player Daishon Knight has pleaded guilty to punching a woman and resisting arrest. He has also been reinstated to the basketball team.

They said that the charges were dropped so he was going to be reinstated. Now we find that he plead guilty. Knight does sound like a nice dude.

"Coach Dan Muller said Thursday that Knight had done everything he'd been asked while suspended, was back on the team and will be able to play in Friday's opener at Virginia Commonwealth."

Translation: Muller drove off all the good players and if Knight doesn't play they'll lose by 50.

Now they'll only lose by 40.
