Its still going to be a raucous place tomorrow. 14,000 people that paid good money to be there and not because they worked for someone who bought a bunch of season tickets. The crowds have always been enthusiastic and with 4,000 more the atmosphere should be great. I know the Moose and his buds will partake of some adult beverages which will only cause them to embrace loud and somewhat obnoxious behavior. National TV and an opponent from a power conference 14,000 rabid fans......priceless.

At dinner tonight, we ran into some people who thought the game as sold out and then when we were in line to pay, I talked to a season ticket holder who isn't going because he is mad that the game wasn't included in his season ticket package. He said he really doesn't like Intrust but would have gone if the tickets had been included in the season ticket package. But he said there was no way he was going to pay an extra $100 to watch a game in that dump (his words, not mine).
Between the people that think it is sold out and those people that don't like Intrust(or grumpy season ticket holders) it is amazing there will be 14,000 people there.

It is a long shot , but it is still not out of the realm of possibility that the game sells out. Highly unlikely though. 14,000 is starting to look like the realistic number. I hope the weather is decent tomorrow morning and there is a very strong walk-up crowd. It would only cost about $19,000 to buy all of the remaining tickets (they are all $12 tickets). Maybe some rich person still steps up at makes it a sell out.Last edited by shox1989; December 14, 2013, 04:10 AM.

I don't understand how somebody would refuse to watch a Shockers game in Wichita because they don't like IBA. Id watch them play in the worst elementary school gym if that's where they lace them up.
With Ron possibly missing, I hope the crowd realizes it can be the MVP and help bring his energy to the team. I'd love to see it sell out.

If they don't want to go that's ok - they're just giving someone who really does want to go the chance of getting a better seat.
