because this year they might have to.
At the same time though, our ability to pass the 'eye-test' has gone up immensely. For the next few years, we have a much better shot of making it in as a bubble team.

I suppose a concern of mine for next season is what will Marshall have to say to his team to motivate them after we win it all next year?

Marshall will say, "Are we satisfied with just one?"

I keep watching that game over and over. Had not known much about your players or coach before we played you. Came away with great respect for your coach and program. Marshall is really good and I hope you can hold onto him for a while. It was interesting to me that Marshall decided to deliberately foul Russ Smith near the end of the game when you were still within striking distance with a steal or a turnover from us. I understood his reasoning. Russ had had an awful game at the line up until that point, but I had so much confidence in Russ (83% for season), I thought Marshall had made a mistake. Turned out to be the right move. Someone had mentioned concern about getting a bad loss, because your conference isn't quite as strong w/o Creighton. My advise? Almost every season has a bad loss or two. We are in a weaker conference this year too and I am sure we are going to lose a game along the way that we cannot explain. Don't panic. You will be there at the end. Have a great season. Can't come soon enough, right?!

My concern is that the games aren't shown on a television station that everyone can get.

The opposite of a concern, I am pretty pumped that Valley coaches can pretty much toss out last year's scouting reports because the dynamic of our team has shifted entirely _once again_.

              - Wessel is back now, and would have been missing from scouting reports
              - Malcolm's gone with FVV coming in (who wasn't a key figure on most reports)
              - Hall and EO are gone so our front court dynamic has shifted tremendously
              - Baker is healthy and would have been missing from scouting reports

I mean we return so much, but the guys that were getting the focus are gone, while guys that _would_ have are healthy.

Dang it's good to be us right now.

You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

i'm a bit worried about who steps in for coleby if, god forbid, he should miss a few games. injuries happen, as we all here know- it is part of the game. who would play the post after coleby (foul problems even)? morris? lufile?
