Marshall's always given playing time to the smaller guys at the 5. Obviously we hammered La Salle with it at a few points, but if I remember right, we had the small lineup in at various times against the bigger tournament teams as well. I just don't have any idea how that plays out in minutes-per-game.

I think your method is probably the most logical ... but I also think a real breakdown would probably be pretty messy with all of the different lineups HCGM uses. There's no site that breaks down minutes played per position is there?
This…Ben Smith played PF. Early played PF. Hall played center. Although we have bigger guys (Early and Green) that can and will play the SF, they will also see the majority of their minutes at the four.

I get your point, but he has been here for a while; and while he did look at times late in the season like he had no clue, I think he may have a breakout year and become at least a good backup.

I hope that's the case, however, I'm not holding my breath.

As I've said elsewhere, I won't be surprised if Shaq plays and contributes more than CJ.

If the basketball Gods are on their toes, we will see you guys in the final game next year. Certainly don't want to see you before ...... Louisville fan

Thanks for the kind words, and congrats on your title. Here's hoping we do indeed meet in the final, but with a slightly different result next time.

                      Classy post, Card fan.

It certainly made it easier losing to you guys, if it had to happen. Here's to hoping for another great season for your team as well.

it would be another barnburner, i'm pretty sure. 'probably be a lotta' dunks in that one too, from both teams. i'm not saying it would be houston-louisville '83 again (what could match that anyway?).. but it would make for good viewing. 'shockers are about to turn it up one decibel.. and louisville is louisville.

Best of luck to Kevin Ware and the rest of your team.

One of my biggest concern is how they handle the pressure as a team.
It's one thing to go to the Final Four when hardly anyone expected it.
It's another when Shocker fans are already making hotel reservations
for the Final Four next year.

I'm also curious about how Early will do with all the attention he is getting for the NBA.
Will he get selfish or be a team player?

Last, with Creighton gone, the Shockers can't afford any bad losses.
Their margin for error got a lot smaller. Can they win the games against the likes of Evansville,
because this year they might have to.
