DePaul has announced their two opponents for host games will be Southern Mississippi and Wright State.

Wouldn't mind playing Southern Miss again if we get the opportunity to do it.

They were a buy-in team for WSU for a regular season game, so I'm not sure that is much of a difference.

Not sure I would agree. One buy in game at IBA is much greater than two buy in games at campus arenas where you are assured you cannot advance to the championship round of the tournament even if you win both games. If a crappy Valley team took that deal, this board would be all over them for it.

Except it gives them two opportunities at good wins for their resume. And I have no idea how much they're getting paid to do it. For USM, that may be a good deal.

I'd feel better about the CBE if DePaul and USM switched roles. The better program is playing in the non-marquee games.

The doggie treat to the teams in this tournament is that they get the guaranteed money but they also are in an exempt tournament where they get extra games for playing.

This contest is running on all the Clear Channel stations and includes the line "At that game Wichita State will proudly raise their Final Four Banner into the rafters and you could be there to see it."

I got a letter in the mail (as did many of you) with information about the tickets for the Tennessee game. The prices appear to be very reasonable.

$152--sideline courtside seating
$102--end-zone courtside
$57--102-104 and 115-117
$42--101, 105, 114, 118
$27--106-108, 111-113, 119-121, and 124-126
$22--109-110 and 213-218
$12--206-212 and 219-225

So, every non-courtside seat is $57 or less. There are lower-level tickets to be had for as low as $22. The least-expensive tickets are $12. I dare someone to try to complain that tickets are still too expensive.
