Those dudes on the box score are the biggest bunch of pansies I've ever heard.

Why don't they just come out and say that they stand by what they did. They wanted his reaction to what's being said about him. It was a great piece of radio, it got a buzz out of the show, and that's what we are in the business of doing.

Quit being such *******. Be stand up guys and don't second guess yourselves and maybe, you will get some respect out of Marshall. Instead, you dudes are acting like your in some sort of support group insecurities.

In the end I'm not overly bothered by HCGM backing out of media. He has bigger fish to fry than radio and TV interviews. Game preparation is key.
When we win on Saturday and Monday all those people will be coming back begging for interviews.

I totally agree plus the fact that it's implied that Wichita State is nothing more than stepping stone program and any coach who would want to stay in Wichita is somehow an outcast or less than liked. It's just bad manners by Dan Patrick and his staff at best


PS - Isn't one of the danettes an SIU grad?

Upon further review one of the executive producers on the show is an SIU grad. I'm sure it's just a coincidence that he produces a show and is an alum of a Valley rival.

Dan Patrick Show is a good show. In the segment following they felt bad for setting up the interview with the sound bite. Weather DP was able to clear the air with coach after the show we will find out on tomorrow's show. The Danette's aren't lame for having said, "we should have done better."

Coach is like Jordan he's a competitor and that is why people that don't have him on their team don't like him. So far thru this run he and the players have done an outstanding job of talking Basketball and avoiding poster boards and traps. HCGM was going at it today and still came out on the positive side. He did what all of us would want him to do.

As we all keep saying let's get our name out there! Players that can and want to play of us and HCGM will come flocking to a winning coach that has their back just like their School, City and State.

It was as an ambush and hatchet job. Dan Patrick should be ashamed because it was beneath him. The first four minutes reminded me a lot of the interview with the Nebraska idiot he did a few years. But you shouldn't expect that behavior out of a national program and if Gottlieb had made similar comments about the supposed dislike for Gregg then he shouldn't be surprised by the cancellation.

He was putting down WSU, Wichita, and Kansas. Obviously, he doesn't have any respect for Marshall or any of us. From his comments you can see that he doesn't think that we have a place in the Final 4.

The questioning was suspect to say the least. Who gives a flying 'F' about Sean Miller and the ref situation. What's that got to do with GM and the Shox and their FF run? Same goes for the lead question.

You can tell GM was irritated. "You can tell uhh, he's in game like form there" as Dan wraps up the interview. No Dan, you just got in his face and GM was ready for bar fight.

Interesting. I didn't think it was too bad overall, but wow do you think Marshall cares about the Sean Miller situation? His team is playing in the effing FINAL FOUR this week. He has a few more important things on his mind. Overall, I do think DP was bringing the "Marshall isn't liked" angle pretty much from the start and that seemed to be most of his basis for the interview. Pretty shitty I think.
