One of the reasons I like HCGM is he tells you what he feels with no bs. And if he can't talk about he says he can't and doesn't waiver.

No reason for Coach Marshall to take a shot at *******. But it was bull Schmidt for Patrick to start with it.

But a weird line of questions from Patrick. Marshall has made a lot of progress taking the high road and he should continue doing so and just ignore shots and the low road, as tough as it can be sometimes.

But c'mon folks, we've heard lots of coaches get a bit surly during interviews.

The DB move was DP playing the clip RIGHT BEFORE bringing HCGM on and asking him "What do you think of that?"
Its like saying to someone "Jesus loves you, but everyone else thinks you're an @$$h0l3"

I disagree. You're bringing on a Final Four Coach, in his first FF, and you want to lead with that? You want your 1st question to be "What do you think about JG saying people don't like you?"

I am not disagreeing about JG being a DB (you better name names if you're going to say personal stuff like that imho) but DP should have taken a different course, imho.

I actually had no problem with any of it. That is the coach we love and that is why we love him. Patrick was the one that got owned. Marshall has a cutting way of asking questions back without raising his voice....makes the interviewer uncomfortable when they ask out of line questions.

Interview was okay but it seemed unprofessional of DP to lead off with that.

The interview was a little awkward the way Patrick began. But I've often not liked DP's interview style. I think that he likes to put the person he's interviewing on the defensive and asks dumb and awkward questions. He prides himself on being unique and approaching subjects from different angles than other sports interviewers. This interview should have been about the Marshall, the team, and the Final 4 and he tried to make it about Marshall and his personality. I grown to like DP less and less.

It was awkward to start with but looking at DP's facial reactions and how uncomfortable he was after 3G made his initial comments told me that he knew he had screwed up big time.

But overall I think the interview was cool I like how Gregg is very blunt and doesnt beat around the bush.
