And the football coach is on administrative leave. It's a very fluid situation with Louisville. If they fire him and its discovered (well, it's already been discovered) that the NCAA illegally obtained much of the information used to build the case against Hurt, Louisville could be looking at wrongful termination. They could also be on the hook for the show cause. It's delicate and they're handling as best they can.

An article today in The Lexington Herald-Leader cited a 1977 N.C.A.A. report on sanctions against Hawaii that implicated Pitino in 8 of the 64 violations that led to the university being placed on two years' probation. The N.C.A.A. committee on infractions recommended in 1977 that Pitino and O'Neil be disassociated from Hawaii athletics.
What was your opinion of the whole deal? Do you believe him?

The NCAA suggested he leave Hawaii. He left Hawaii. That was that. On the rape charge, give me a break.

I have a question. The guy who's clearly mad has stated, several times, that you have the best handlers left in the tournament. I look deeper into the stats and see that Armstead has a 21.4% turnover rate and Vanvleet has a 24.1% turnover rate. Those are really high numbers. The team as a whole turns it over on 19.5% of its possessions. What am I missing? I believe him when he says you have great ball handlers, but why do they turn it over so often?

I just put my Final Four tickets up on Ebay and started them at a penny.
Why oh why did we have to be on U of L's side of the bracket. NOBODY can beat their defense. There simply is no solution. Why risk the embarrassment?

Enough is enough. Take your meds, put on your depends, and have the nice nurse put you back in bed.

I think comparing common opponents is a poor way to determine which team is better. But I do think Gonzaga was better than OSU over the season. I think OSU played better late. OSU underwhelmed in early conference play, but at the same time, every loss was to a top 20 opponent. Not many teams can say that. But as Wichita fans have said, you have to beat the best to be the best.
