TacoMac is a sports bar in the South, wings are very similar to a Buffalo Wild Wings. They have one in the Phillips/CNN Center facing the Dome that will be packed all weekend as well. When the ACC Tournament was in the Dome a few years back people would flock there between sessions.

    • I just got back from Los Angeles and have yet to put in any time for tickets yet. I only want to go to Atlanta if I can get lower bowl seats. Any suggestions? It sounds like WSU has some of their allotment left? Any chance those tickets are any good? I think I heard the student tickets are all gone. Were those tickets any good? I am still young enough and have my I.D. that I could have gotten away with that.

      • go online for lower bowl tickets, lots of outlets selling them for $500+ depending on location in the lower bowl.

Talked with the ticket office an hour ago, said they only have 100 and 200 level tickets (lowers/club...Huge sign of relief). Shockers are in the 127-134 side/corner. You don't want 127, lowers behind the basket.

Where did you hear that WSU has some of their allotment left? I thought that all 3,000 were sold.

                • 127-134 are some poo poo sections.

                  • May go in to 135 as well. That's the same type of block all the schools get. They usually give corner to sideline to the schools and then have a buffer at midocurt and behind the basket that is corporate seats between the team sections.

Agh!!! Only 3 or 4 of those sections are even facing a portion of the court:

I hope I am dead wrong, but this is apparently going to be a very neck craning experience. I should be more positive about this, but I'm just very concerned that the game experience is going to suck.

                        • Yes, the view for a basketball game in a 70K seat stadium is not going to be good for 95% of the fans there. The atmosphere, however, will be great, and you get to watch your team play on the grandest stage in the sport. I wish they would go back to the half field set up like they did before 2009 (how the setup was in Indy this past weekend) but that won't happen.

http://www.kansas.com/2013/04/01/274...inal-four.html I guess they are basically all gone. Any big donors want to buy tickets for me? ha. I wasnt too worried about it in L.A. as tickets from 3rd parties werent too expensive, so we sat 1st and 3rd row lower level for $300 total.

The game experience will be great but the suck part will cost alot more.

                              • Where the heck could they have put us to make some of you happy? Center court? The fact that we aren't in the upper deck is awesome.
