And Malcolm or Carl will probably be our team MVP or perhaps Co-MVP's. But I'm glad we have Cle for another year.

Tekele probably penalized for being a sophomore. Either that or the voters think he is just a 3-point specialist.

Two years running. I guess we defend with smoke and mirrors rather than individual players.

Coach of the Year announced Thursday. Any ideas who it will be?

You have to go back a long way to find a coach that didn't win outright or tie for the league title who won COY. At least to Eldin Miller...maybe further.

And just so nobody questions where I stand, Chewy completely backed into his first and likely ONLY conference championship. We handed it to him, it wasn't his coaching at all. But we'll see on Thursday.

I still love how the Defensive team of the year can't get a single player on the All-Defensive team...

Tekele did get screwed. Nothing against Bradley, but stay out of the play in round before you get 2 all defensive team members.

My guess it won't be 3G even though his team exceeded expectations and overcame big injury problems because he won it last year. More than likely it will be Creighton's 2G. I'm not sure Barry Hinson didn't actually do the best coaching job this year even though SIU finished last as expected.

Here is how the teams were piciked to finish presseasin with their actual finish in parenthesis:

                            1. Creighton (1)
                            2. Illinois State (6)
                            3. Norhtern Iowa (3)
                            4. Wichita State (2)
                            5. Evansville (4)
                            6. Drake (T-7)
                            7. Indiana State (5)
                            8. Missouri State (T-7)
                            9. Bradley (T-7)
                            10. Southern Illinois (10)

Well we all know you dont want to put your biggest program brochure in Wichita....

I mean Cincinnati is so much better
With tthat said other than Defensive snubs I dont really see a problem with any of the lists. Carl Hall is >>> than that european soccer player from UNI. But I can understand putting him over Carl on the 1st team. Still a snub though
