number suggests he either isn't looking or isn't giving it up. in addition, when he drives
to the basket from those perimeter positions he will, more times than not, draw a
second defender giving him opportunities to find an open teammate.
Cle is not supposed to be a post player, but he has been most of the year. He posts up more than anyone not named Carl Hall on this team. Most of the time when he catches outside is because he's just set a screen and popped out there. Hall doesn't pop out as far because he doesn't have the range. Gibbs is a PG that plays off the ball for CU. Cle is a SF that has been forced to play PF most of the year. Comparing the two like they play the same position and have the same role on their teams continues to be an idiotic comparison. If our guards were better at feeding the post, Cle would have even more shots down low and have an even better shooting percentage than he already does. Trying to say he play mostly outside is absurd and nobody that has watched this team play all season is going to buy it. But by all means, continue trying to convince everyone that they're completely wrong and you're the only one that knows what's going on here.

Look, if you want to say he shouldn't have been first team, fine. I think there are some on here that would agree. But using the numbers you're using and how you're using them is twisting stats to fit your agenda and not looking at the reality of the play on the court and what is asked of each player.

i am happy to have a respectful exchange of ideas and opinions. one poster was totally
out of line and for some reason i responded to him rather than ignoring him. i wont make
that mistake again as its pointless to argue with anyone of that intelect. i respect YOUR
opinion and points and others that present theirs in a well mannered fashion. i agree that
cle is more of a three having to play four, it just seems to me that he hasn't been down
low as often as some others think. i will watch closely this weekend. gibbs is a PG ?
finally, once again, except for the awesome dude, i apologize if i have offended anyone

ahh the old "you bash my opinion so you're not smart" rhetoric.

Fine you have an opinion. You're opinion is stupid. Im sorry you're so hurt about it. Maybe you should have picked a better argument than oh "he doesnt pass the ball enough" Dude its not his job. Multiple people in the thread said the exact same in many different ways but yet you keep right along "thinking" that just because its your "opinion" you're somehow entitled to keep shoving the same argument over and over again.
