ADES seems to be at a crossroad on multiple fronts regarding not only his legacy, but the future of WSU athletics.
1. What response will WSU have in regard to a possible MVC implosion? Does the MoVal lose some of its prestige with the possible CU departure, and what does ADES do to protect WSU due to its affiliation with the MoVal?
2. HCGM has stated numerous times that his job at WSU is fantastic. Will that change if the MoVal drops in stature and becomes a one-bid conference? Will HCGM depart for a tougher conference? What does ADES do to retain HCGM?
3. Has he used his leverage with Elgin to promote the MoVal, shed its weak members and replace them with the likes of Butler, St. Louis, Depaul, retain Creighton..., and endeavor to increase TV revenue. Or is Elgin and ADES simply taking the role of victims?
4. What is the game plan for HCGS and the baseball program?
The rumors of CU departing the MoVal clearly illustrates that a conference MUST become stronger, with better facilities, increased budgets, and top notch coaches, or they risk not being able to be in the discussion of improving their position in the national spotlight.
Seek the truth or hide your head in the sand. Both require digging. What is ADES doing?
