It seems like a lot of people are questioning ADES without any information on what he might and might not be doing.

They sure do and if he was as bad as many suspect, Bardo would probably have already canned him.

And I think that anyone who thinks that this is soley ADES' call had never been in a position where they were subject to organizational politics and that the man at the top will be calling all the shots........

Which basically means ADES will take his marching orders from Bardo, as it SHOULD be.

And once Bardo gets us a coveted invitation to the Big Ten, the flagship university's minions known as the Board of Regents will vote it down. :(

Is the big announcement more than just the video board?

My guess -- It's probably time for a reshuffle of the seating, which means more expense to the fan base (and at a time when a lot of them can't afford a major increase). Remember the uproar at KU when they last redid all their seating?

I remember the last one. The committee whacked out about 20 years of my seniority and it did not bother them one bit.

It is all about the money.

As George Fahnestock famously said, "You can get some great seats, if you can write the check."

If they would raise the roof, add 3-5k seats and sold luxury boxes to the snobs who never show up, they could probably lower ticket prices for the masses and the donors.
