I have to say that our "fans" are the most pathetic fans I've ever seen. I know there isn't a lot to be happy about sometimes, but when there is a moment to be joyful about, the patrons of Koch arena seem dead. I looked around several times tonight when we cut it to five during the dwindling minutes of the game, going nuts myself, and noticed everyone sitting around, seemingly lifeless in their chairs. No wonder our Wranglers left, no wonder we don't have a football team. There is no market for either because Wichitans are fair weather, bandwagon, lifeless fans. Someone made a post about us becoming "the cubs of college basketball". Well, anyone who has been to a Cubs game knows that no matter what, Wrigley is rockin. I'm sorry, but I was disgusted. Can't wait for another baseball super regional when Wichitans finally decide to buy tickets when we're good. What a disgrace.
Have a coke and a smile and shut the eff up!!!!! You are the joke, not the true fans of WSU.
This post wasn't directed at the true fans, it was directed at those who are not true fans. You really can't be retarded enough to not understand that. And telling someone to "shut the eff up" on the internet is real cool, too. If you don't like my opinion, say you disagree. You're entitled to yours, but you have to admit it was pretty lifeless. Also, I don't like coke...
The only gripe I have of our crowd last night is the #### down from me yelling at HCGM at the end of the game to go back to South Carolina. Totally unacceptable. And he just may. I guarantee that you don't want that. This abomination is not on him. I am glad he is here.
Time for a old fashion whoopin!
:wsu_posters: 8) 8) 8)
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kickass ... and I'm all out of bubblegum.
My guess is he left it at home, because he might not have had time to make it home before the game started.
I saw the Caped Crusader at the game, and he was wearing the same stuff I'd seen him in earlier on his way to class.
Deep in the heart of couldn't give a crap about college basketball-land and I miss the SHOX.

I also was unhappy with the lack of support of the fans that were at the game. I am in the top of the areana and standing up and cheering, but so many are just setting there - when the team is down is when the fans need to get vocal and stand up to get them motivated again. Couldn't believe it when we got within 5 pts and the fans didn't all stand up to cheer them on....
Just so this thread can have something constructive in it, what do you think as fans that we can do to help the rest of the crowd cheer louder?

First, you need a season ticket holder is the homeliness looking mofo in the joint and is high on weed just get up and start gyrating and dancing his ass off like a fool with the attitude of "I don't care".
Second, you gotta play some more hip hop and Metallica. That'll get the juices flowin'.
Lastly, get our cheerleaders to squeeze into smaller and more form fitting outfits. Then have them do the 'butterfly' on the court during breaks.

I get 2 and 3 (really get 3) but I think I need to be baked to get 1 and that's simply not me so I'll just count it as another KC moment......
as long as people have to donate at least 5,000 to be in the first 15 or 20 rows its gonna stay how it is.
I think.
It sucks.
I know that CKA could be one of the loudest arenas int he country if people would stand up. and yell.
When my grandpa came to the UAB game from NC.
hes a huge duke fan.
he mentioned that when everyone stands its louder than when everyone stands at cameron indoor.
also i think that the administration is gonna have to change from Lets impress everyone.
TO let the students go crazy like every other arena in america.
At duke they dont get in trouble for touching players. apparently or so ive heard.
We get a lil too rowdy we get in trouble.
its rediculous.
maybe if a student donated 10 grand wed get treated differently.
i dunno, its just frustrating as u can tell in my posts.
I know the players want people up they have been dunkign like crazy...
and waving the fans up.... more and more.
"Coach Marshall,We will be at Creighton at least 15 hours in advance!"
CGM--->"Hell yea, and we'll beat their ass."
When the student section is packed I'll start listening to student complaints. Maybe. There are plenty in that section that aren't loud either and many that only stand because the person in front of them is.
