Here's the deal. No sweeps versus our beloved Shocks and no stinken split on this road trek. The toothpicks have around 6 players that are solid but we are plenty angry about the loss to them at 21st and Hillside. There is some Shocker reckoning to be revisited I reckon and a win would be huge. Look for the mo to continue and for us to beat them on our quest for the gold. Eye of the tiger mentality=tough wins on the road. We can beat them from the inside out.

I say we lay the wood (sycamore) to the trees and the aces. Games like the one tonight will still have our guys hungry. You do that and the road game at cu loses all of its significance (especially since cu will drop another before it) and becomes a freebie that will produce a cool and collected hot shooting night. Point being...after winning tonight, I can start to see us running the table. This was my biggest question mark. Just don't go to sleep on the two teams that have already beaten us.

This game tonight was huge. Now beat those trees bad. They have proven since beating us that it was a fluke. Lets set it in stone

After seeing some fire from our team in that second half, (and the last 46 seconds... 8 POINTS?!) I think our team can win this one too. Ill State is a hot team. Indiana State is sparatic and very very beatable on certain nights. I guess it just depends on which team shows up...

fwiw, I enjoyed Holthaus and Adams tonight....I thought Adams gave the Shockers a lot of love, even when behind.
