We are long overdue for bending a team over. Might as well be the Bares.

By the way, we open up as 17.5 point favorites. :eek-new:

That seems like free money to me. But of course, if I play it, the Shocks will win by about 35.

Did malcom get bone bruise from dribbling the ball off of his shin? Did DW get Repetitive strain injury from all his dribbling he does?

Sucker bet. No way you put money on the black and yellow. Prove me wrong Shox. I beg you.

The Eagle reports the Bears will start 4 Freshmen and 1 Senior and as already mentioned on here, we are a 17-1/2 point favorite. One way we can finish this MVC race out strong is to make very sure that we catapult Cle and Hall in the confines of our Offense to lead the way inside. If we do this first, maybe our shots will start falling again from the outside. I have no problem for us to assimilate a twist of more zones if even a trace of foul trouble starts up with these 2 players again. We need them on the hardwood, not the pine getting splinters.

Too many times in the last 3 losses, we are getting penetrated on after slow ball on many possessions, only to give up easy shots or too much fouling, which has both backfired on us in our attempts to play catch up at the end to win. This also nullifies our rebounding edge which help us win games even when we were not shooting so hot then either as illustrated from the Creighton game. We have some tough games left to win and need to revisit our grit rather than having our weaknesses exploited. Tonight may have uusightly moments, but look for us to come out hungry that will result in some Shock flurries that we were executing when we were rockin.

Oh, almost forgot, with all of the flopping we see anymore, we would be better served not to over penetrate but rather pull up for some short jumpers instead. Now of couse we know it will be okay for our foes to steamroll Mr. Jake White who awaits them perfectly still for days on end without as much as twitching an eyebrow, but we (especiall Mr. White) don't get away with such folly.

                        Alright. $40 on MSU.

I'll gladly buy a $40 win right now.

Early needs to do two things to improve and help us win.
                          1. he needs to do what you said above. Every game he gets at least one and sometimes two charging calls where he needs to pull up and not try to get to the rim. We need him in the game.
                          2. he nees to not shoot 3's early in the clock in the second half without rebounding possibilities. He takes a couple of bad shots every game.

<Insert cliche about mental toughness here>

                              Shox - 75
                              MSU - 67

It's homecoming. There's no way we lose tonight.

If we haven't finally learned yet how to break the zone or simply do not have the players capable of doing so, we lose and will continue to lose.

Otherwise we win and right the boat.

I have absolutely no clue as to the outcome of this game.
