Well we still are not calling time-outs to stop double digit runs from occurring. I don't think there are many competent teams in The nation that have giving up huge runs in this many back to back games....at some point reality has to set in for HCGM...

Let's just all agree to have a moratorium on the time-out question. It never goes anywhere. I actually lean towards your camp, but I think I would enjoy watching the replay of that game more than having multiple threads continue to rehash this.

I'm not blaming this entirely on 3G. He didn't blow a huge lead and he didn't allow SIU to go on a 40something to 10something run.

This game is on each player and every coach. They need to do some gut checking and figure out if they want to win this year, or let this just be yet another shocker team that doesn't live up to potential.

I would normally agree with you, but the ego of this team is clearly missing. The coach gets paid a lot of money to manipulate the outcome.... He continues to leave a simple tool in the belt that every other coach uses... Heck multiple coaches have used it against him in the last three games to stop the bleeding.

3G was trying to get a timeout in, but the refs ignored him, if I saw it right.

The players on the court did decide it. 1-10 SIU went on a 43-19 run at one point. I think our players decided it to the worst of their abilities.

Yes, we indeed put ourself in a vulnerable position on the road and made our fair share of mistakes. We did not utilize Early and Hall near enough inside. That was indeed our fault and SIU deserves crredit for that as well.. However, after D-Will got plowed over flatter than a pancake with no call as their player also traveled, it was sad they called the goal tend after those no-call infractions. I will watch that play again and know it was close on the block by EO. Too bad the players could not decide the game on the court in OT. The charge and travel was not called but yet the alleged goal-tend was. Such is life in Valley play but we should have never allowed ourselves to be in this situation anywho.

They went on an 8 point run and got a TV timeout. Then they went on a 7 point run and he called timeout. Then the second half started, they went on a 7 point run and he called timeout again.

He did exactly what you are saying he didn't do.

I saw him trying to get that TO in as well. That was the last straw. After I saw that we didn't get our time out, I stood up, said "F#$% this" and walked straight out the door.
