Seriously, think about that: Bradley 39, WSU bench 38. Of course, Hall is a pretty good "non-starter" to bring in, but before Carl was hurt Orukpe came off the bench, and before Early established himself as a scorer, so did he, while EO started. So it's not like having Hall (just seven points tonight anyway) count as a bench guy skews the numbers all that much. They're just really good and really deep, even with the absence of Baker and Wessel causing the bench to be less imposing than it otherwise would be.

Jake is giving all he has. It may not be enough for some but giving 100% effort is good enough for me.

Anyone for whom it isn't enough needs to rethink his own basketball IQ -- that wasn't just effort, that was production: 11 and 9 (or 10, some are saying) in 17 minutes is good enough for any league anywhere, especially when it's coupled with the kind of effort and productive hustle we saw tonight. Jake just needs to keep doing what he's doing and leave the threes to his teammates this year.

As for the bozos who question whether White really belongs, just ask yourself this: what do you suppose Marshall would say to someone who thinks Jake isn't good enough for WSU? Do you seriously think the same coach who recruited the unspectacular but sneaky good -- sneaky VERY good -- Fred Van Vleet cares whether Jake dazzles anyone? Just the results, please -- just the results.

When I do the Prouty rating for the game, I'll be using the correct stats even if they don't have it corrected.
