Our RPI dropped a smidge but stayed at 15 despite the SoS grenade.

Before the game it was .6423 on Warren Nolan, after the game (as I type this) it's .6365. So it definitely dropped some, despite the road win -- no way to avoid that when your opponent's D-1 record coming in is 3-14 (.1765). But the rank held at 15th, just ahead of Loudmouth Larry Eustachy's 16th ranked CSU Rams.

A very good comeback after losing a 12 point early lead. But we should never have been in the position we got ourselves in. We seem to have way too many individuals who are in a terrific shooting slump and others who are always in one. Fortunately, most of them play decent to great defense.

I think it was Jay Bilas that said our offense was in the bottom one-third of all D1 teams -- THE BOTTOM ONE-THIRD. Actually, I think he said our free throws and three-point shooting was in the bottom third. Geeze -- didn't know it was that bad.

We can get away with this piss poor field goal shooting in the MVC, but come NCAA tourney time, those teams will capitalize on this deficiency. I still have hope this will work itself out.

I really hate to say this but it just keeps looking this way. it is looking like the Shockers of today (with much better athletes) play like the Salukis of yesterday. Very tough defensive team with ugly wins. They did make it to the Elite Eight and should have beat Kansas in that game. The chicks didn't know what hit them.

I don't understand why, when we have Wiggins in, we don't try to get him at least 1 look for every segment he's in. He seems to be the only legit perimeter shooter we have.

I gotta believe that we are waiting to unleash him at some point before all is said and done.

Maybe I am simply being a homer, but I think we'll shoot better coming down the stretch, maybe a lot better. Baker is going to open things up all over the court PLUS he makes others better by Gibbsing them into higher quality shots.

18-2, 1st place in the conference, top 20 ranking....long home winning streak, about to win the 100th game in the past 4 years.

How about EVERY home crowd like Creighton the last 5 games of the season, and then EVERYONE get their collective arses in cars and head to St. Louis? Think these guys deserve OUR best the rest of the way? Think Coach does?

I realized why the Shox came out slow. Didnt they go eat chicken fried steak on Sunday? Yeah, it must have been soooo good, they had 2nds and 3rds. I know that when I have chicken fried steak, it takes me a few days to recover.

Is there still a Grandy's open anywhere?
