Wow. Terribly disappointing performance tonight from the Shox. I like Marshall but sometimes I really question his offensive strategies. Apparently it's just to let players chuck up horrible shots early in the shot clock. Early was absolutely ATROCIOUS tonight as was Armstead. I thought these guys were going to be impressive in a game like tonight but they were detrimental to the team. Armstead needs to watch his darn mouth with the technical. Can't be having that. Bad night....

Our defense wasn't very good tonight but I think our offense was much much worse. Just bad all over. Creighton recovered nicely after their loss to Boise so hopefully we'll do the same. Tennessee is in no way a decent team. NIT squad all the way.

Only thing that makes me feel better is Bilas commented about the refs and someone retweeted saying it looked even worse from press row then Bilas made another comment about how ugly the officiating was...at least its not just fan bias

This is a leasons learned, wake up game.
Too many fouls (justified or not), too many missed free throws. We thought it would bite us sometime and tonight was the night.
Bad decisions down the stretch. MA, CE, you gotta come every night on the road.
NW is a shooter, and that's all. May be a great kid, may have a great attitude, but where's the rest of the game.
Couldn't we play a little more zone against a team that can't shoot from the outside. Outside of free throws, what did they really do?

Bottom line, I'm mad as hell right now but I won't be surprised if we run 9 off in a row. We lost on the road without 2 starters. Crap like that happens.

We'll still be in the top 30. You don't have to "fight for respect" when you're a top 30 team, 9-1 on the season and losing your one game due to awful, awful shooting and being on the road. If we go 2-0 or even 3-0 in our next few games,we'll be ranked again.

Big whoop. We lost and it's because we shot about 60% from the line and 30% from 3. Off night. No need to be disappointed.

PS: The refs didn't help our case, either. Just one bad night all around... outside of CH.

But hasn't this team pretty much shot 60 percent from the line and 30 percent from three all year long? I just checked our stats, as a team we are shooting 68 percent from the line and 32 percent from the three. Even if we made our season averages, we still lose this game. Turnovers, not our best defensive effort for the entire game, fouling too much and not making our shots killed us.

We aren't a good shooting team. Need to find better shots. The fact that we took 4 or 5 straight threes to start the game was embarrassing. That's where Marshall needs to step in and drill it into the guys' heads that working it down low to Hall, Early or EO is a much beter option. But NOPE. Marshall doesn't change a thing....

Maybe Marshall should curb some of the arrant 3-point shooting by certain individual. Why a timeout wasn't called late when the ball wasn't going into Hall with garbage being flung up has me extremely befuddled.

The one thing I don't understand about Marshall sometimes is that some players make bad plays and they are immediately yanked while others make consecutive, worse, mind-numbing plays and it seems an eyelash doesn't even get batted. No?
