My thought is that for who WSU is NOW, this is a perfect league...IF a great coach can be found....

I DO like the conference as it was when we got in...I mean, going to Memphis for 2019 American tourney with UCONN, Houston, Memphis, Cincinnat, UCF, and the rest? Awesome! But changes happen...

One struggling team defeated another struggling team.
Nothing impressive, but a win is win for a WSU team (and staff) that desperately needed one.
That is all.Above all, make the right call.

And he was the best of the 3 injured players. I don't think Zane Meeks and/or TJ Williams are going to make a lot of difference either when, and if, they return to the lineup.
Meeks is toast. He's been sitting for 6-9 months so he isn't even close to game condition even if his shaky knee suddenly becomes healthy.
TJ is medical RS and that is definite. No use wasting a year of eligibility for a few games. Help him get healthy and ready for next year.

Do we know for sure how many spots we will "have to" replace for next year?

However, the NCAA may be talked into allowing more years since players are being paid and they might be able to make more money in college ball than anywhere else. Who knows how much more good egamication they may need.
