on KAKE's, the guys think Coach would "run not walk" if offered the gamecock job.
also, some idiot called in and wanted Coach's head for losing so much.
you people must be kidding if you think there's 5 people worrying about this. it's a lot more. I asked some of my friends if they think coach is leaving, half of them said yes
Read all of the posts before you post anything next time. I WAS KIDDING! It was a joke about all the worrywarts out there.

This is probably going to drag on through the rest of the season...which is worse than just knowing "is he going, or isn't he" tomorrow.
if it drags then i feel he wants the job and is waiting to comment on it until he is offered.
If HCGM thinks he has a reasonable shot at the USC job then he probably will leave the door open. That doesn't mean it will ever be offered to him, but just in case it might be, he probably will want to leave his options open.
If HCGM thinks his chances are slim to none (he is listed as the #5 option in the SC newspaper) he may very well make a definitive statement that he his withdrawing his name from furher consideration.
If, in fact, VCU's Anthony Grant is the frontrunner and USC is ready to wait until after the season is over to talk with him then it is possible this could go on for a couple of months before we know for sure.
Looking forward to what HCGM has to say about the situation tomorrow.
If he doesn't provide 100% definitive response tomorrow then he's making a huge mistake saying anything in a press release...that and this place will implode.

For those people, you're gonna fall harder than the ones that are at least entertaining the possibility of HCGM making the move. I'd suggest you be a little bit more open to the idea or you're gonna get so hard you may end up killing yourselves.
Don't be ignorant, guys.

... No really, deuces.

I've heard this "clause" rumored many times but coach's contract is a matter of public record, yes?
I have searched but cannot find it. Perhaps someone more skilled than I could put this to rest.
I, for one, do not think this is accurate.
I will also, now, give my opinion on what I think coach will say today. No inside information, just my gut feeling based on all I have read and what I know and believe.
I think Coach will make a bold and definitive statement about the future of Shocker basketball with him at the helm. He will leave no wiggle room and he will lay down a challenge to the fans for the balance of the season. You will feel energized after reading it and you won't be able to wait to get to the roundhouse on Wednesday.
Yeah, but that is pretty much like believing that the .01 sales tax will never come back. I like to be optimistic most of the time, but I do try not to let reality smack me in the face.
What's that state motto, 'To the stars through adversity", well Wichita just seems to never get off the ground, as a city anyways.
