I browsed the Iowa forums and the usual BCS turds are predicting an Iowa win while the guys with their heads screwed on straight are telling them not so fast. Should be a good gamePeople who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do. -Isaac Asimov

Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

Really kind of hard to figure out what we are going to get from this Shocker team from game to game. However, our foul trouble we ran into against DePaul may have a silver lining in that it may have forced 3G to spread the minutes around more than he may have done otherwise saving our legs a little. Shocks also get a couple hours more rest than the Hawkeyes.
Sully wrote in his day after blog:
The Hawkeyes press, which I think is helpful for WSU. They also played zone against Western Kentucky. The Shockers haven’t proven they can make three-pointers with regularity. Somebody is going to call them on that and it may be Iowa tonight.
Iowa did turn the ball over 18 times against WKU so perhaps the Shocks can do some business there. Iowa is averaging 14.4 turnovers over their 5 games.
Iowa is not exactly lighting it up form the perimeter shooting 31.5% on treys on 17.8 attempts per game. Shocks normal defense should continue to make it difficult for the Hawkeyes to do too much damage from the perimeter.
Shocks will not be giving anything away to the Hawkeyes in terms of size. In fact the Shocks should be the more physical and athletic of the two teams.
With all due respect to @Kung Wu: I have not made a specific prediction on any of our games to date and considering that we are 5-0 I am too superstitious to start now. However, I will be pretty disappointed if the Shocks do not remain undefeated after tonight. This is absolutely a game we can and probably should win. I expect a close game with a point differential of 3 to 8 points.
Go Shocks!

I had been pretty worried about this game. Iowa returns most of their guys from last year and added a very good recruiting class. But after actually watching them last night, I was not very impressed. We can't have a Howard kind of game and expect to win, but if we play well this is more than just winnable--we should win this. DePaul tried pressing us, as they obviously didn't read the scouting report. But I'd be shocked if Iowa tried that instead of zoning the f out of us, so this could be a much harder fought victory. In the end, another low scoring slug fest.
