However, one thing (among many good attributes) about this Shocker team that's in their favor is that they just seem to have a strong distaste for losing.

Creighton's too high at #17. Other than that, there's not much to argue with.

I think the timing of playing a road game vs Mo St and Bradley at home (34 pt win or not) hurt us in the polls this week. If, for example, we would have played this week's schedule last week and come out 2-0 (vs. Ind St and @ UNI) ... then we probably would have gotten points in the polls. Happy to be where we are at and hope we can keep on climbin'!!!

The questions would be:
Who can score more, McLemore or Early?
Can our guards force them into turnovers?
How well can we deal with Withey's defense?
How contained can we keep their secondary scorers?
Can our bench put enough points on the board to give us an advantage?
I'd say we match-up fairly well against them, as opposed to say a team like Michigan. From what I've seen, the top 15 is more about matchups than anything else, and no team is good enough to have a definite advantage against everyone else.

However, I will agree with your statement that we would beat them more times than not - as long as we don't give them atomic bombs that turn into a dunk for McLemore. Cotton can D up McLemore in the halfcourt easily. McLemore is poor to bad off the dribble. However, if you give McLemore any space his elevation will give him a clear shot at the rim. I've never seen anyone elevate like him in person, and I've seen DK plenty of times.
Malcolm would tear Elijah and Naadir up. They are playing really bad right now. Elijah seems to have lost athleticism from last year and his desire to do the little things to win does not seem very high. I don't know who would guard Releford, he's a near impossible match up forthis team. Having a guy like Ben Smith would really pay off if we were to play them this year in the tournament. The mountains are calling, and I must go.

What a bunch of clowns.
EDIT: All 3 of them are from down south, 2 of them from South Carolina. Did Marshall piss them off down there or something? But seriously, they have some mental issues. Either that, or they have a major ax to grind.Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.
