I would say 3G seemed pretty upbeat when discussing his recruits. Sounds like a very solid class. Of course, we pretty much new that thanks to the work of @tropicalshox, et.al. on the recruiting board.

Interesting tidbit. The Western Carolina coach used to coach at Ohio and he coached Geno Ford (Bradley's coach).

Jake didn't play a ton because they went small alot and Marshall had concerns about Jake guarding smaller players.

Baker may be most sound defensive player on the team right now. Really impressed coaches in Brazil last year.

Dang! Baker can shoot the rock. He can play point. He held his composure against VCU's pressure on D. And he may be the most sound defensive player on THIS team? You couldn't expect all that from a top-100 Fr. Does he maybe have a younger brother - or 5 (like the Korvers).

This looks to possibly be better than the Murry/Kyles/Stutz recruiting class

We got a sniper

Said Earl Watson had 20 pts 13 rebounds last night in a game.

We got a "freak of nature" athletic PF

Shaq like Durley in terms of skill set, but much more athletic than Durley was out of High School

We got a top-150 post player that's more athletic than Durley and ALREADY weighs 250+, and doesn't look soft or flabby.

DJ Bowles much like FVV, but bigger

A top-150 PG

That's an easy recruiting class to like.

Two items caught my attention as follows:

1. Watson is running three miles in the morning every day.

2. Demetric had a very fine game.

Recruits

There are frosh & 1 Juco in this class. Earl Watson is the Juco. There has been a thread here on him for many months under recruiting. He was here last June for the WSU Elite camp & was described later as the most athletic guy there.
