From the VCU board ( I know it is one guy, but "Dirtbag" - Really?) I don't like Shaka at all, but can't imagine going to that level . . .

2) While VCU is known to be a very pesky team (kind of like SIU-C a few years ago), and everybody in here knows I don't like that style of thug ball, your players in the video looked kind of mid-majorish in size. Are they really that small or does the video just make them look that way?

1. No. But they do have some fine black cheerleaders. They looked good in person...

2. Yes, they play a smaller lineup. They do have a footer, but they don't use him much. Their tall PFs are about Cleanthony Early size, and they generally don't play a true center. Their roster has a lot of players listed at low height for their position, for example:

6'5 PF
6'3 SG
6'4 SF
6'5 SF
6'2 SG

They can put up a bigger roster though. Maximum size at traditional positions seems to be:

6'3" PG
6'3" SG
6'5" SF
6'9" PF
7'0" C

I would guess that they would tend with smaller lineups though. Even if they go big, we can put out a frontcourt of Early/Hall/Orukpe and force a mismatch at SF (Early against a 6'5" guy would be interesting).

But Early doesn't play SF at this point...and especially not vs. VCU. Experiment with Early at SF vs. Howard or W. Carolina, not VCU.

Then lets throw in Lufile, EO, Hall, Early & White so we will have a bigger height advantage. The point is you have to throw players out there in positions they actually play. At this point Early is a FOUR, not a three.
