I would think that would violate an eithics code for coaches in some manner. I can understand students doing this on their own, but a coach should definiely not be coming out and supporting it publicly. His job is just the opposite IMO.

I'm in no way implying he didn't say it, I just like to hear it myself or read it in "legitimate print" before making a judgement. If he did, I agree with the sentiments here.

Briante Weber set the all-time school steals record with 10 steals- in 18 minutes. He's a beast defensively. He led the country in steal percentage as a true freshman last year (7.0%) and that mark was the highest for any individual player in college basketball since the 2002-2003 season. His steal percentage was 31.3% last night, or once every 3 possessions.

I wonder how many VCU basketball fans got mugged on the way back to their car? Hopefully the Shockers went straight from the showers to the bus to the plane. Coach said they will be celebrating the victory with Shocker boosters on the plane ride home.
