Nick will get some bench time for non-Marshall approved plays. On the other hand, even though his shooting was bad, I felt Cleanthony was clearly trying to fit into the team concept. I don't have any doubt that his shooting Monday was the exception rather than the rule.

Still not sure how we scored 100 on Monday. It was like the whole team had a Tekele Cotton performance; nothing flashy but the score kept going in the right direction.
Probably the 8 steals to layups in the first half and the 3PT bombs. Without those, we'd have been in the 80s.

It was a quiet 100 for sure. Gotta love that moment where wiggins got it and was waved off and mr baker managed to miss his first free throw. Lots of noise and suspense right there. It almost felt like he was shooting a game winner. What do you know, he hit it under pressure :) believe me, there was pressure

Saturday: EO, Hall, Wessel, DWill, Armstead? Or does Baker actually unseat a healthy DWill?

DWill is not healthy, Baker starts. By the time DWill does get healthy, and ankle injuries tend to linger, "Ron Baker" will be a regular Don Hall opening call.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

I think Baker might keep the starting spot unless he losses confidence or hits a wall.

With the athletic talent, but lack of D-I experience, I like the idea of DWill coming off the bench to solidify the second wave.

In a Sullentrop article Marshall says the starting line up Saturday will remain largely the same, but is considering one change. Want to guess what the change is if there is one?

I find this very difficult but I'll guess Hall goes to 5 and Early starts at 4.

I think its DWill over baker. Only if he's healthy though. It seems like a nice gesture to go all seniors plus whoever you want at the 3, be it Wessel, wiggins, cle or baker in that order.

It may not be the ideal future lineup but this is game 1 after all.
