  • ...and generally you go with the "known" quantities first. You would not want to start a newcomer over a returning vet (all things being equal or close) only to have to revert back to the vet later on. In makes more sense psycologicallly to give the starting job to the vet; if the newcomer eventually beats them out - so be it. It is more easily accepted by the players. IMO :)

    Which is why, generally, upperclassmen will start at least at the beginning. It is their chance to lead, and you want them to lead the way. It sets the tone for all the newcomers on how the system works.

      With Lufile injured this make sense. I think the non-injury plan was for EO, Lufile, Hall and White to have all the meIaningful 4 &5 minutes.
      I also noticed what Doc said. Marshall, on his talk show, did say that Early was going to start learning the 3 and that he has only practiced at the 4.
