If Wiggins can average 16 plus per game, then I can handle his defensive shortcomings. Creighton does that with McDermott, so why can't we? Of course McDermott is a proven scorer and the verdict is still out with Wiggins.

McDermott is a proven scorer against lightweight teams of which the MVC has aplenty. McDermott was quite average against us and I suspect he will be even more average against us this year.

McDermott is not very athletic. The following snip is pretty much McDermott in a nutshell.

On the perimeter, McDermott is largely a catch and shoot player, rarely creating either for himself or for others off the dribble, and his ball handling and shot creating ability are clear weaknesses for a player who doesn't have the physical strength or length to play in the post at the next level.

The defensive side of the ball looks to be the primary issue with McDermott when projecting his chances at the next level. His effort level appears to be adequate, but his physical limitations are evident. He doesn't have the size or strength to deny position in the post, and he doesn't have either the length or quickness off the floor to provide much if any weak-side help. On the perimeter, which is where he is more likely to play at the next level, his lateral quickness is a huge concern. He tends to give a large amount of space on the perimeter to combat his mediocre foot speed, both when defending isolation and pick and roll sets, a problem that is sure to become more pronounced the more he is asked to defend away from the basket.

When's the last time they even won the conference outright? 2002? LOL. We've been more relevant this decade than they've been. They tend to have big egos to begin the year and choke quite nicely later on. It'd be hilarious if they choked this season down the tubes, their greatest hyped season in their program's history.

He's getting better...don't get me wrong he's not ready to be Kareem Adul Jabbar (UCLA, Los Angeles Lakers).

He's better when he is fresh. Expect him to play in 3-4 minute segments. In and out, in and out.

Ehimen can't go 8 minutes straight. He gets tired and fatigued.

He's a lot better this year, but he still has a lot of work to do.

How much do the Chiefs pay to get people to listen? I think I could stand to listen to Chief's games for $500 per hour.

Don't worry too much about it. Just do all you can do and let the rough end drag.

From the two times I've seen Wiggins, he may average 16 turnovers a game. Learning to protect the ball is the single boggest adjustment he must make. I hope he can do it and not lose aggressiveness.

"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:

                              • Is this were all the talk is on Early knowing the 4 and not the 3? Perhaps I'm foolish but when Doc speaks I pay attention. Near the beginning of the thread on the inter-squad scrimmage, Doc informs us he overheard Marshall say he needs to teach Early the 4 as he might need him there. Sounds just the opposite to what some are saying.

With Lufile injured this make sense. I think the non-injury plan was for EO, Lufile, Hall and White to have all the meaningful 4 &5 minutes.
