While at the women's game, I saw the men's team heading to and from the practice gym. Fred appeared to be in his practice gear, so I'm guessing he played but both Demetric and Chadrack were in warmups, so I'm guessing they sat out.

I mean, SDSU's pretty good (probably top 75, maybe top 50)...a loss wouldn't surprise me at all.

the way I read it is this:

1. Shockers are Big
2. Shockers are physical
3. Shockers are athletic
4. It was good for SD St to see this type of quality competition before the season started
5. SD St. held their own versus WSU.

first 3 are good description for the Shox and are positives, depending on how you interpret 5 as win-lose or draw could be good or bad or indifferent. And I guess it depends on the context of how good SD St will or won't be this year. If SD St. played them well, it is probably something the shox needed before they get to VCU on their schedule, because Pitt St, NC central probably won't prepare them for a tough game.
