We stream Netflix, Hulu, Max, Amazon and Disney. None of them buffer, stutter or drop resolution like ESPN+.[/QUOTE

      • Box score for the Kansas State Wildcats vs. Wichita State Shockers NCAAM game from December 21, 2023 on ESPN. Includes all points, rebounds and steals stats.

thought we played badly, but the free throw disparity just jumps off the page.

        • Not sure moving forward we can play Pohto and Ballard together. Defensively we give up a lot of potential ball pressure and quickness with both of them on the court together. It also clogs the lane when we try to drive. With Pohto being unguarded when he is outside it allows teams to keep another defender helping on Rogers. FHCGGM would spit nails watching this team play defense. No way we can play both Pohto and Ballard together against KU, Memphis, FAU and have any hope of competing.

          • Most people have way more internet then they truly NEED. Equipment in the home is rarely going to be the issue these days unless you have truly faulty equipment, which would affect more than just a single app.

Now service in an area can be an issue, but that isn't a subscriber issue. That can happen on any service at any speed.

I usually don't have streaming issues, but when I do it is ALWAYS ESPN+. Tells me it is probably more of an app issue. Especially when so many say the same.

Today it was only bad for me in the first half at times. 2nd half didnt seem to have as many issues (other than the product on the court) lol. I do get way better results running through HULU vs running through the ESPN app.

            • For what it's worth. I used to have occasional issues streaming when using wireless. Now that I'm plugged directly into an ethernet cable it is flawless.

When Bell and Beverly are out and Rogers is being hounded, somebody has to shoot at the end of the shot clock. Let’s give him a little more time before making any judgements.

The Mrs. thought QB played horrible tonight and she wasn’t sippin’ on grandpa’s cough syrup. I guess we all look at a game differently.

For his first game, I was also pleased. I think he will be a very nice piece going forward.

                    • Stream was flawless for me. Even switched off of my internet onto data and then back on to other internet. It’s definitely something down there.

When you connect to these streams, not everyone is connecting to the same stream. You are all connecting to individual instances spun up in a data center somewhere. Not everyone is connecting to even the same data center. Some of those probably run better than others. ESPN probably sizes their instances for cost savings at the expense of processing power and that's why you see more buffering and such with ESPN.

I agree QB was an absolute liability defensively. Whatever offense he did provide was spoonfed too him meanwhile he was playing too high in what looked like it was schemed as drop coverage 5 or 6 times, all during KSU runs that took us out of the game completely.

                            • I don't know if it's mostly a personnel issue, but I don't feel very inspired by the way WSU has been playing on either end of the court these past few games.

The offense is stagnant for long stretches and depends on iso or 2-man game instead of motion and meaningful ball movement. It feels like WSU is mostly hunting for 1-1 matchups instead of trying to break down the defense. Sure HCPM has drawn up some nice plays, but the stuff they're running on the fly doesn't seem much different than previous seasons.

The defense is okay, but the guards are constantly getting beat off the dribble and it feels like guys are failing to stop wide open cutters at least a half-dozen times per game.

Additional gripe: rebounding. Box outs remain an issue and the general level of aggressiveness on the glass leaves something to be desired. It feels like WSU gives up an offensive rebound on a missed FT at least once a game - which is completely unacceptable.

                              • My take for whatever it’s worth. I was at the game. The officials were bad for both teams. They never let the game actually start to flow. Sure WSU got a few more questionable calls but the flow hurt them worse than the fouls.

As soon as Bijan got on the floor, I could tell he has potential to be a game changer. It was his first game and a late add from what I read.

the Kstate fans behind me kept calling him white and kemo sabe, along with saying technical or travel everytime we did something. If I wasn’t by myself, I would have said something. Lost all respect for that fan base.

the team plays with no heart. They get the ball, move down the court and then stand there. Coach needs to do something to light the fire.

                                I miss 3G.
