I don't really count Ehimen because of his circumstances. Rags and Smith were brought in because we hadn't secured personnel at those positions in the previous years. Once again, adding JUCOs because we were lacking in depth.

On purpose? He signs them because of failed recruiting classes. Look at our juniors this year. Not a single 4 year player. Are you saying he intentionally missed on an entire class so he could bring in a bunch of JUCOs? That's absurd. I like the talent level, but there's more program security bringing in 4 year playets and uding JUCOs to feel gaps. Unfortunately, we've had s number of gaps in recruiting.

Not unlike when you said this right after I said 1st reason to bring in jucos is to keep stability at questionable places on the roster... You are capable of taking something in an odd way too.

Just basic knowledge of the english language enables one to assign actions as descriptions. Morris stole money, multiple times. Morris is a thief. You said Marshall's recent recruiting classes have failed. Therefore you have unwittingly assigned Marshall the description of a failure. All we were doing was pointing out what you were saying. If what you were saying is unagreeable with you, try rephrasing your descriptions.

ZERO 4 year players in the JR class. That's failure to recruit well three years ago. So yes, failure.

Once again, reading comprehension sucks on this board. I never once called 3G a failure. I have said that he has failed at times. Failing some does not make one a failure. I've already said that at least once previously. Everyone fails. No matter how great you are at what you do, you will fail at something at some point. Marshall has failed on certain recruting classes leading him to have to recruit a lot of JUCOs. Once again, THAT DOESN'T MAKE HIM A FAILURE. Some of you guys make me sad about the education level of the board.

According to some of you, if you ever fail at anything once, you're a failure at everything. That's about the most ignorant thought process I can think of. But some of you at least appear to believe that way. And if that's how YOU choose to view things, than 3G is a failure. But you've said it, not me.

3G missed on some recruiting classes, that is a failure for those particular recruiting classes. Not a failure for the overall program. Once you get that threw your heads, this becomes a lot less complicated.

No thanks. I've never had a desire to and have seen the negative effects it has on others. I choose not to participate in any such thing. And that doesn't mean I look down on anyone who chooses to consume alcohol. As long as you're responsible about it and don't drive while intoxicated, I'm fine with it. But considering the failure to comprehend things on this board, I'm sure my previous comments will lead them to believe I'm anti alcohol and think anyone who touches it is the devil. :banghead:

I haven't seen anyone on this board call HCGM a failure at recruiting. There's an opinion that a recruiting class might have been a bust, but I think a lot of us here are reading into some comments way too much.

I wouldn't worry about it - unfortunately you used FACTS for your argument and for some that is No-No. They couldn't refute your facts on the "miss" in recruiting class, so some will twist your words/thoughts so they can then have a position they can attack that is not based on the facts.

I was trying to explain a line of thought. Now, the main argument here is that juco is not the best way. Now I would agree that having blue chips and even red chips for four years has advantages that juco don't. However, would we have these FVV types four years ago? Marshall is using the JUCO system the right way. When the time is right, I believe Marshall will start a influx of blue chips and red chips. He wants that, we want that. But he has to work for it.

Alcohol in moderation is actually quite healthy. People have been drinking it for thousands of years for medicinal reasons. It can do wonders for the heart.

I'm fully aware of that. Which is why I have no problem with those who choose to do so. But coming from a family who has dealt with drunks and had an uncle killed by a drunk driver, I choose to not partake. Instead, I stick mostly with water.
