Creighton, Colorado, Nebraska, maybe Texas Tech, Baylor, Arkansas along with OU, Okie St, K St, KU. A lot of regional possibilities that could rotate over the years.

Let me just say that we better get KSU in Koch next year. None of this, “Well, we already have KSU on the schedule and they are a big local draw, so we’ll just put them at Intrust.”

Because that’s exactly what happened with Oklahoma State.

I think it comes down to also having another IBA worthy game. I think that's what happened with OSU.

I'm expecting them to buy out of the last game

SDSU is not a draw at all, no matter how good they are.

The entire idea behind an "Intrust" game should be to play a team that won't play us at home but rather wants a neutral site. Somehow that's morphed into "taking the best home game of the year and moving it to Intrust."

We went to Intrust 4 or 5 times for basketball. We never cared for it.

I like going to Intrust games, but playing a low/mid-major at Intrust is as exciting as being a walk on at Alcorn State.

Only about half the IBA games have really been worthy.

                    2010 - Tulsa - eh (82-79)
                    2011 - UAB - not IBA caliber (68-46)
                    2012 - Southern Miss - meh (59-51)
2013 - Tennessee - The kind of game it was meant for (70-61)
2014 - Saint Louis - not worthy of IBA (81-52)
                    2015 - #25 Utah - A worthy game (67-50)
                    2016 - Oklahoma State - A worthy game (76-93)
                    2017 - Oklahoma - A worthy game (83-91)
                    2018 - Southern Miss - meh (63-60)
                    2019 - Oklahoma - A worthy game (80-75)
                    2020 - COVID YEAR
                    2021 - Kansas State - A worthy game (59-65)
                    2022 - Oklahoma State - A worthy game (49-59)
                    2023 - South Dakota State - meh

We're 8-4 at Intrust. Should be 9-4 after this year.

But in IBA worthy games we're 3-4.

The very first one against Tulsa wasn’t awful because we hadn’t played Tulsa in a few years, and we were actually at a similar level at the time (KenPom previous season: WSU 64, Tulsa 83).

That was a really fun game. I remember Aaron Ellis hitting a few mid-range jumpers to help seal that game.

I wasn’t planning to go to the Intrust game this year for various reasons but I think that I will probably drive down from Topeka. This team deserves the support. Time to support this team Shocker Nation. If you can’t make it to Intrust then get out to the Roundhouse.

We have always attended and enjoyed doing the downtown game at Intrust. A stop before hand at Emersons down town for eats and a beer or three. This is as close to a "Tournament " feel of a game as you can get without the tournament itself. Great vibes downtown before the game with all the Shocker fans decked out in Shocker gear being loud and proud downtown. Myrtle Beach was fun but for Game Day experience ' it don't get much better" no matter who we play. Don't get me wrong I like playing a high ranked team as well as anyone and we have a few coming up his season but the schedule has been a gradual climb so far and OUR guys have responded well. Looking forward to all those fans showing up and supporting the House on the Prairie that don't find an excuse not to go. Go Shocks

Some of you must not get out much. Tickets for ANYTHING and EVERYTHING are through the roof. Trans Siberian Orchestra will be here in a few days. Tickets are $59 - $110.
