I believe Gal, in comments he has made at some point or other, has given us reason to expect he might go back to Israel on his own accord to play professionally. Nothing any of us say here is going to make him want to leave.

If what you said was true, which I know it entirely isn't, then Gal has some serious issues if it takes that much strength to avoid internet message boards. Players don't look at this stuff, are told not to look at this stuff, and could care less about this stuff.

I think you put a little too much stock in what's said here all the time.

You are nuts if you think players, recruits, parents, etc don't read message boards all the time. I know it happens at just about any school that has enough of a fanbase to sustain a popular for a fact.

Thanks for the backup. - Just because I rip on Gal doesn't mean I want him to leave. I ripped on Paul Miller a few years ago because I knew he could be a heckuva player, but ripping on him didn't mean I wanted him to leave. I rip on Gal because I know he could be a very good player, but he makes too many dumb mistakes right now. Plus, imo, he doesn't look like he's having fun playing the game right now, so I think he'll head back to Isreal and not finish his 4 years at WSU.

That's not true, I know a player that was here a few years ago that used negative comments as his motivation to prove people wrong on the court.

and he was like whats that.
i was like its this message board.
on the internet.
Gal, looked at me and said...
O I dont read the stuff on the internet man, or read the papers i hardly watch tv, because i dont want it getting in my head.

Anybody who has seen gal warm up. knows how he is.
He pays noone anymind.

So just because some other player got on here doesnt mean gal does...

Cripes - I have to read every message you post at least twice and sometime three times to make sense of it. And don't tell me I need to learn to read -- you need to learn the English language. I swear you must have been sleeping in English in high school.

I know this isn't grammar 101, but at least put a complete thought down --and use some basic grammar.

As to Gal --- if he leaves there is nothing anyone can do about that. Do I want him to leave, absolutely not. The last two years have been worse on him than on any of the other players. Gal has had to transition from European ball to American ball for one coach, then learn an entirely different style of playing for another coach -- not to mention that because of injuries he is asked to play at a spot he is not completely suited for. I have seen improvement in Gal's play in the past four or five games. Has he made mistakes - sure he has and he will continue to do so. I hope both GMs stay because losing either one will hurt.
