I actually think Gal shows quite well in these stats. For the first 12 games Gal and PJ played very similar positions. Since then he has only had 4 games to "increase" his assist average over PJ (assuming the point guard position should have a higher assist average than the wing position), but the reality was that he was ahead of PJ without being the point guard. Also, he is 11th of all MVC players not just point guards.

He has averaged about 3 assists per game all season and I can only assume he will work his way up the list as time goes on. In the two games where WSU showed up and played as a team he had 4 and 7 assists.

Hell, over a hypothetical four game period Matt would only have one more assist than Gal. That is hardly better. Gal would have about two more turnovers after four games, but if you take out his one 7 turnover game he virtually ties Matt in the assist per game stat. I added the four game example below and included Gal's one awful performance.

This team does not make it easy to be in the top seven. Maybe a guy like Fridge could have pulled it off.

As far as I'm concerned, Fever, you have gone well beyond the realm of constructive criticism of a Shocker player. Your ceaseless ramblings at least appear to border closely on some type of hate relationship. Your constant negative posts on Gal have been countered countless times by fellow members yet you just keep spilling your counter productive propaganda.

You really need to get a life. With your gift for gab, why don't you direct your considerable prolific productivity and inventiveness elsewhere as this topic is wearing rather thin.

Mekel seems to be getting the hang of playing PG on pretty short notice.

9 assists and 2 TO's for a low-scoring team - against a stealing, trapping team is a very tasty line. Just about got a double-double. It's been a long time since anyone at WSU has sniffed a double-double where assists was one of the numbers.
