Point is a bunch of people on here were talking before the game about how well coached and experienced Lipscomb is and they may beat us. Now the story is how unathletic they are, Many unathletic teams have beaten WSU in the past by jacking up threes and flopping on defense. Feel better that I laid it out for you?
Thank you, oh wise one.

Xavier Bell with 5 assists and only 1 turnover tonight. Like everyone else, X is at his best when he plays within himself and slows things down.
Colby Rogers has a nice handle and can certainly shoot the ball. Having a shot maker on the perimeter helps the offense. Hope he can score consistently.
Harlond Beverly did not have a very good game. Five turnovers stings, but I suspect better days are ahead.
Kenny Pohto played well but didn't shoot particularly well. Smart payer on both ends of the court. Really glad he decided to return to WSU this offseason.
Quincy Ballard looked very solid (and coordinated). Lipscomb had smaller players, but his rim defense will translate. The offensive output was a pleasant surprise (shoutout Quincy Acy and staff)
Isaac Abidde was the biggest bright spot for me in this game. Complete 180 from the player we saw last season. NBA upside if he continues to put it together (shoutout Quincy Acy and staff)
Dalen Ridgnal is a dawg on the glass and will provide a nice spark off the bench this season I suspect.
Jacob Germany with limited minutes but I assume he will be used more as the season progresses. Hard to play your bigs 30 minutes a night all year.
Rest of the games have a bit to go but all AAC teams are leading at the moment

I don't know if I can watch though. Wardle looks too much like Boatright to me. Lmao

According to Live Stats Bell had a ridiculous +/- of +31.
I know people want to pick on his bone head transition decisions and a couple other shots.
But he had a very good game statistically. Inside the arc he was 5-9. And even outside he only took 2. So can't be too mad about that.

How many butts in the seats? Had my grandson's game, missed everything, followed box score on my antique phone. Lipscomb is affiliated with the Church of Christ, FWIW.
UAB got kind of hosed by the officials and lose to Bradley in OT.....

Like a few have said, Shocker basketball was fun and entertaining tonight. Hope to see more. Despite the turnovers, I loved the pace of the game. Go Shocks!
